Orienteering race 57:09 [4] *** 7.2 km (7:56 / km) +165m 7:07 / km
spiked:18/20c shoes: Roclite 315

Purdown district
1st one was all wrong with it really not quite right. follishy followed a girls starting direction so wasted more time doing that wide on 2 hestiant on 3, 4 good, obviously lost a lot of time on 5 by going left through grass, quite suprising. maybe lost time on 7 by going up and out. Stopped for a leak on the way to ten. Got caught by garth from wessex running in a bunch with tom helfer as well, for most of the way back until the guy from wessex got lost i think. Finished four minutes down on Tom C, which is probably an indicator of me feeling slow. Underprepared, should've worn O shoes an headband and drunk less last night! But generally pleased with technique on what is essentially an easy area i train on reguarly...

Orienteering 27:00 [4] ***
spiked:9/11c shoes: Roclite 315

Blaise - informal - map memory

Tims map memory event , a bit easy, cockedup 9 in the circle, then tried to go straight to ten which was all wrong. Nice amounts of climb. Felt average. Tom bet e by about a minute.

Orienteering 15:00 [3]
shoes: Roclite 315

Control collecting on far ones just before the rain. Tim blasted up the hill infront of me. Got my picture taken by a speed camera in the way home, luckily there was an abulance in the other lane:)

Run 1:17:00 [3]
shoes: f-lite 335

Monday night run. Smallest turnout yet. With only me and Matt, some others did have some good excuses though like Mark S training for Jukola, John playing with mountains and Tims toe hurt.
Delightyfully hot with some good veiws on the downs. It still baffles me beyond belief how attached people are to trousers in the motherland, 24 degs and stilll people in tights...

Good looop round ashton court, although didn't feel the best, probably due to the rank pork on pork baguette i bought (so reluctantly ate) for lunch.
