Orienteering race 22:04 [5] **** 3.0 km (7:21 / km) +125m 6:05 / km
shoes: Jalas O shoes

JK Relays - Eridge Old Park
Mens Short Relay - leg 2. BOK Falcons

Undoubltly my best run of the weekend. Goes to show that a night of moderately heavy drinking the night before doesn't dampen your running... Drunk some really foul and cheap whisky to finish me off...

Was a bit ampped cause I had some good people in the team. Got set off in heavy snow 14th 5 mins down. After nearly completly munching a small kid in the relay lane, would've been bad with my spikes on his head... hestitated at 1 because I had memorised the wrong code!! Then cocked up 3 by which time 2 runners had caught me I think... They were running fastly all over the place for the rest of the race and I was pretty clean just running by myself, with no more than 10 sec mistakes on 6,8,10. Apperntly I looked dead in the finish shute but had gone +6 to bring us in in 8th place. And our last leg runner bought us up to 4th!! (out of 56) Although we didn't have any idea we were so far up at the time, great!!

JK Day 3 Ashdown Forest
M21L Long O

Slightly worse area with a few englishams. Started in heavy snow but had loads on today and was glad for it. Cockd up 1 with maybe 1.30 min. Then stopped to tighten sheos and short out clothing for a few mins on the way to 2. Should've really done this before the start... Was quite please with how I went through the technical ones (6,7 and 10) Then went out to the drinks contorl, really annoying it wasn't in line before 13. My route choice to 17 was better than others obviously as i saved time there and was dying by this stage. Very slow from 18 onwards (last 2.5 km maybe) But felt good that i had completey 2 back to back classics and was still alive, 32nd overall and moved myself up the combined resutls quite a bit.

Orienteering race 1:44:16 [4] **** 11.8 km (8:50 / km) +405m 7:33 / km

JK Day 2 - Leith Hill
M21L Long O

Bad day really. Wore too little clothes in the snow, and desperatly needed gloves, hands were cold until control 4 at which point I stoped feeling them. No mistakes in the order of 10 mins but many in the order of 1 - 2 mins Did alright through the real technical stuff I thought. Bloody good area for south of England and no "englishams" in the mapping - fantastic. Felt i should've done better.

Driving nice fast rental now so got that one sortered

Orienteering race 21:22 [5] **** 2.6 km (8:13 / km) +60m 7:22 / km

JK Sprint
Uni of Surrey, Guildford

First Sprint in a ahile (2 years?) and felt a bit rusty and then cocked up 3 lost 1.10 min. 40 secs at 16 and generallya bit rough on some others. Still recovering from cold. Also the car brakes failing 1 mile before the event i don't think i was in the best mental state, but at least me and car where alright.
