Note

The weekend was packed full. First I had Zentralkurs from Friday afternoon until Saturday evening. This is a type of conference from Swiss Orienteering, where all the infos for next year are communicated. Then one Sunday we were invited at friends for lunch, before lunch I took a nap because Lena woke us up many times during the night because of her cough and after our visit it was time to put the kids to bed, since we only got home at 19h... So not much sports this week. But I have a cold anyway, so probably better to take it easy.

Feeling better, so I did some of the exercises that the cadets were doing today as I was "coaching them" :-) I learned a whole new set of strength exercises to do for running, it was awesome. Glad Swiss Orienteering knows what they are doing with their athletes:-)

running 41:14 intensity: (21:18 @1) + (9:55 @2) + (9:44 @3) + (17 @4) 5.52 km (7:28 / km) +243m 6:07 / km

After their training I went on a run to try to find some sun. I found just a few rays, but it was wonderful. This fog is depressing.

Pilates 1:00:00 [1]

Good class, was good for me after lots of running the weekend.

Mt. Biking 30:00 [1]

I'm coaching the elite athletes that are part of the military recruitment school this year every afternoon this week. Today they did intervals down in Biel along a river. We met up with the track and field runners, their coach and I road along the runners during their whole training. It made everything look very official. It was interesting to ride with them while they run and observe their running form. Etc.
