EigerTrail E35km race in Grindelwald. What a beautiful course! I really enjoyed the climb from Wegen to Männlichen (1000m climb) and the whole part after the Kleine Scheidegg until Alpigen. I took a pretty big fall on a big trail just after Männlichen, I wasn't paying attention and tripped on some rocks. This shook me up but then a women I knew came by and she chatted with me for at least 10-15min and this really saved my race. So nice of her.
In the beginning of the race I didn't feel great (have had a sore throat and headache for a few days) and I really contemplated giving up, I just didn't think I would have the strength for it. After Wegen on the climb up to Männlichen I felt great and actually felt really good for the rest of the race. Only the last 5km where really tough, at that point I was just getting really tired and it was hot down in the valley. All in all a very positive experience and a really great training for the Otter Marathon I will run in October.
I however couldn't walk normally since then. Sore sore quads.

Last day of our training camp in the Engadin with the Neuch'O'Juniors. We did a middle distance race with SI in Susch-Lavin. This is where the middle final at JWOC 2015 was. Lovely terrain. I spent a lot of time setting this course, wanting to get it just right. This is one reason I wanted also to run "the race" as well. Also because I like to see how I compare to the other athletes. I had a really great run, but did miss twice about 1min, so I could have beaten Ines Berger but I did not. Darn ;-) Otherwise a good time and nice to chat about routes afterwards, since i really ran them.

Setting controls for our 1-man relay on the Surlej-Silvaplana map. This terrain is so tough, even if absolutely beautiful.

Setting controls in God da Staz next to St. Moritz. The part I set in is one of my favorite areas. Ran some of the course afterwards as well. Getting tired.
