FVO run from Ashfield fown into Dunblane and back. Trying to add a bit extra on to keep whipper-snapper James busy. Enough for me and my liver.

Pilates, circuits & lamppost intervals with the Newton Primary Athletic Club. They worked well today, enjoyed being outside and looked to be happy. Thanks to Brad and Hazel and others for support. We managed to complete a session today, a first!

Orienteering 32:38 [3] 5.46 km (5:59 / km)

FVO West Dunblane West map.
Planned by Brad with some good little route choices on the short Nice mix of terrain and urban. Chest not happy with things from the off so let the group lead the way for a bit (Jon x, Dixie, Lizzie, Rog/Jamie) then took a slightly better route and got out in front. Challenged to stay in front from then on whilst not pushing the HR too high. Really enjoyed the southern terrain bit (despite being awfully brambled and brought down at one point). Managed to take the win despite not seeing the alleyway to the finish. Great grub at Riverside after. Thanks Brad!

Had planned to do something a bit more strenuous but I saw sense and did the usual two-lap plod. Still hacking away so I don't need to be getting carried away. Sore & stiff in rare places - so stretching afterwards and will do more with foam roller tonight.

FVO Stretching and Strengthening.
Some new exercises tonight, which I enjoyed. Once set of circuits but at 40 secs. Coping just a bit better than last time I showed my face.
