Done straight after a family swim where I got to be the playground equipment for the kids to clamber on. Home to Duymat-Menstrie-Blairlogie-up the shoulder of Dumyat through the woods and across to car park, through Pendreich to Cockburns Reservoir then Minewoods and down to BofA - Here's where knee gave in and I had to hobble back up the Darn path and up the rhodey path and up to the back woods and home. Determined to do 3 hours but needing to reduce the descending to save the knee. Hopefully (touch wood) nothing too serious. Knackered.

Checking courses and control sites in Little Druim Wood.
Some absolutely gorgeous legs in there and I've re-thought most courses to make it even nicer. The views over the loch were exceptional today. Lurverly!

Home to Waltersburn Reservoir and across the fields to Cockburn reservoir then down to the WEE at Minewoods. Quick chat with folk then back up to Cockburn reservoir and tourist path up Dumyat. Struggling at the top but ran almost all of it. Then straight down again to Cockburn and back through fields as per the outward journey. Carrying a 3kg backpack and feeling it. If only I lost some weight! Just had enough jelly babies to survive.
