A recce of a potential area on the Dukes Pass Road with Rog - including the old quarry. Very tough going, lots of windblow, very soggy. Got out, that's a positive.

Orienteering 1:26:16 [4] 15.07 km (5:43 / km)

Ediburgh Urban Race - Men's Open. Why not, it's not my cup of tea but the Vets course was too short - I need to get my road legs ready for La Santa.
Cocked up the first lot but survived the Exchange area reasonably. Not really trying, just enjoying the sights and sounds. Body, surprisingly, in one piece at the end.

Been digging for septic tanks in Galloway all day. Long drive home then straight out the door for hills. Back to Darn walk to do the rhody hill path.
4 times this week. Significantly better than last week, despite being very muddy (snowmelt): 5:25, 5:22, 5:20, 5:12, but not as good as two years ago... Wobbled back home.

Working in Galloway. Run cross country with headlamp from Newton Stewart into Kirroughtree forest. Had an OS map but didn't make head nor tail of it with all the bike trails, small paths etc so after 35 minutes of hoping I just had to retrace my steps back. Very Dark Skies tonight!

8 mins warm up then 6 x 3 mins on / 1 min off then 8 minutes warm down.
Ice and snow underfoot not very conducive.
