GG's Alva Time Trial.
Keen to get this over and done with. To hell with the grotty weather, poor light, not feeling my best. There was a window of opportunity and it had to be taken!
Full of dread at the beginning, knowing how hard the first two sections were but gritted my teeth and worked on (holding a little in reserve probably). Relieved to see the flat section 4-5 but knew there'd probably be a sting in the tail and boy there was! Snow on the ground didn't help, but thankfully the stiff tailwind did! A very much wind-assisted last half, judging by the horizontal hailstones when I turned back down.
4.34k, 473m climb. 29:09
That's so much more painful than the Parkrun! But good for you.
2 months ago I don't think I'd have been able to run this, consistent training and Kinnoull climbing has paid off.
