Terrain Run 1:21:16 [4] 10.0 km (8:08 / km) +200m 7:23 / km
ahr:127 max:204

Terrain ruuning with map - Part of a 21E course in Auchingarrich.
Got dropped at the main road and ran onto the hill - total session in a gale and driving rain, soaked to the bone, bog, head high bracken, 100s of deer and one fox. Man'd up. Fun ;-)

Warmed up with coffee and cake in the Wildlife Park T-shop waiting for the family.

More impressed by Janine's first Home-Dumyat-Home run!

Falkirk ParkRun.
3rd time in 4 weeks!

Felt rough this morning and resigned to just doing a hard session, not breaking a PB focus.
Started hard and worked away - quieter this week due to X-C relays being on so the field didn't string out and I saw the leader for most of the way. Improving my downhill speed but still struggled on the hill (2 guys passed me - both lighter). Worked hard towards the end but outsprinted again (no surprise).

Absolutely shocked to find it was a NEW PB by 27 seconds!
Under 20 by Christmas? Aye!

Biking with Ally - North Inch.
TT (4.12k) for me - 9:15 (easily a new PB)
Ally - 11:57 (and for him)
7 PM

Run 1:19:00 [4] 12.0 km (6:35 / km) +200m 6:05 / km
ahr:140 max:158

FVO Soup Run from the Inmans.
Typical me - planned an off-road styley run through the back woods, past the reservoir, through more woods that got darker and greener, past the Gathering Stone, more woods, thicker woods and then track to home.
Thankfully Ross's headlamp was pants which meant the pace wasn't as fast as it could have been but as soon as the whippets hit a track near the end I couldn't even see their dust!
Great soup thanks to J9.

In Corstorphine today so took advantage of visiting my old haunts round the hill. Still can't work out my old route - finally worked it out this afternoon!
Edinburgh's windy in't it!
