Compass Sport Trophy Qualifier - Birsemore Hill, Marocland.
Ambivelant about today's event. Great tough terrain, some excellent little loops on the tops but some crazy down and up legs with little purpose/need and a really shocking leg across the complex stuff near the end to a boulder on a path! Haven't mentioned the last 800m was track running either!
Map was great, planning wasn;t the best, assembly venue was great.... if only there was a possibility to put the white and string round the school and Community centre......

Consensus said we didn't need to hang around to worry about the team results.

Dusky run out the back of home - usual Gathering Stone route. Feeling old and battered - maybe from two days off (?). Or maybe from sleep-interrupted nights?

Kinnoul in the snow. Sloshy/slippy across to it but great underfoot conditions on the hill itself. Slight whiteout at the top - couldn't make out the ground shapes thus my first fall since the weekend!

Still not fully recovered from the weekend's fighting - rst day planned for tomorrow.
