Edinburgh Chase.
Not much of a chase when you don't run the same course!
I won but Martin should have (he was 20m in front of me when we went into Dynamic Earth section.

I really had fun battling it out with him, and Linnea with Robin Galloway hot on our tails. Good session, shame about the ending.

Edinburgh Big Weekend - City Race.
Men Vets course - 5.8k.
First start, very little warm up and feeling out of practice. But......
I loved it once I'd got into it. Really like hunting for alleyways and steps etc. Some legs were a bit dull and just plain running but most of it was fun.
27 secs behind Ben Hartman. And quite a way behind loads of others now I've managed to find the results....
Nae bad.
12 PM

Run warm up/down 15:00 [2]

Mainly down.
Lunch at the Museum with extended family and the Wards - great place!

Helen Bridle's excellent FVO Night race!
Loads of gaffles, lots of terrain and nice and interesting. I purposefully took a maveric route choice to 3 and was left trailing thereafter. Enjoyed running on my own and kaking my own decisions. Dobbs perfect choice for all the snow and ice.
Flipping good hard session!

Orienteering 23:13 intensity: (26 @1) + (9:20 @2) + (8:28 @3) + (4:59 @4) 3.33 km (6:58 / km) +108m 6:00 / km

Collecting controls and then running home via Holmhill and the Hydro.
Knackered!
Takeaway chinese chilli beef for tea ;-)
