Harlow Carr - Geoff gave me the brown course from a recent event and I was tasked with collecting in the tapes at the control sites - not easy given my eyesight, fading light etc so had to circle most features. Hadn't expected more mud in parts than yesterday!

FVO Xmas day trip up Dumyat.
Ran with Geoffrey, just ahead of the main pack. Had to work hard to catch up the family - Matthew successfully summited unaided (age 3 and 3mths!). Had to help him out a bit on the wya down but am very proud. Also proud of Mum who went up with Hannah and my two fit Grimlaws also.
Ran home from the car - great to stretch the legs.... ahhhh the loneliness (peacefulness) of a long distance runner.... ;-)

Still didn't make enough room for Christmas dinner.

Run from work up Kinnoul - very soggy so opted for the firmer trails.
Got away with just damp rather than in the downpours. Startled a family (3) of deer. Really good to be back running.
