A terrain run in Loch Ard and into the famed Drumore Wood with Magic, Will, Ross, Adam and Fraser. Hard work getting there but worth it - some fab bits of terrain. Tried not to push too hard - but it wasn't easy - very much like Trossachs in places.

A run with Marcus around Tullialan Wood west of Devilla. Plenty of thinning, windblow and brash - horrible place, I doubt anyone would ever want to map it.
Work lunchtime run with David.
Was dreading this as I knew that last time I ran was him he was in much better shape than a sick old me. I warned him that I was sticking to my safe HR limit of 160 and we set off at a good lick but at the right side for the HR. He put the boot in on the hill on Kings Park and I tried to stay under 160 and so dropped back a few meters. I caught him back up on the long descent and he made a perfect pace for my 160 back along the track and over to Kings Knott. He put a spurt in climbing the steps just after the knott and I chose to stay with him (to hell with the HR, which rose dramatically to 187 and then settled slowly back in the 160s). He was, typically, flagging back past the Fire station (helped on the road crossing by them putting the fire engine road crossing lights for us - thanks!) but I knew he'd kick for home down the cycle path and he did just that. Thankfully, I've been back running long enough now to be able to hang on and I pushed him all the way back.
33:33 on our last run together (he's relocating to Inverness office next week). Good stuff. Glad to be back to running (quite) hard and glad to see I've helped get someone else fitter than me.

FVO Night Race, Stirling Town.
Not feeling too good today. Tried to make sure my HR didn't go over 160 but it wasn't easy with all the hills.
Miles down on Will and Ross.
Excellent course planned by Trevor with some quality route choices (esp No 1).
