Run 1:00:00 [4] 12.2 km (4:55 / km)
ahr:146 max:171

A quality run session along soft forest tracks just north of Salen. An out and back so ran hard out and ran harder back - 31 to 28 pretty much.
Quality.

Orienteering 36:19 [4] 4.5 km (8:04 / km)

FVO's first Wednesday Evening Event of the season, Minewoods, Bridge of Allan.

Mmmmmm. The only positive I can say is that I got in a physical session.

Had to dash there and back because I was bathing/bedding Matthew (Janine at Chiropracter today).

Run warm up/down 10:00 [3]

All I could afford. It was hot anyway.

Intervals hills 59:00 [5] 10.2 km (5:47 / km)
max:170

Hill session on Ballengeich Road with David.

I was pretty up for quitting on this but on the 4th Janine appeared, David rested the 5th and challenged Janine to a race with me (starting 100m ahead) needless to say she beat me.
Then David was all keen to do the 6th given that he'd rested up, and he promptly beat me by 1 second - to wave his victory in my face for the rest of the year!
2:44, 2:44, 2:43, 2:42, 2:45, 2:41(pb)

Knackered. A hot day and a hard session.

Run 35:23 [3]

Lunchtime run, letting David dictate the pace - a little too quick for a recovery run but it was sunny and pleasant and my body wasn't as sore/tired as I expected...

Pilates 1:05:00 [3]

Final FVO pilates & conditioning for the season.

A good pilates session followed by a short, sharp circuits so the biys could get out for a run before dining at the Village Inn.
Good food, good chat, including Fab-Fi-Fair to celebrate Rosco's imminent old age.
