Orienteering race 45:00 [5]

Glasgow Parks Races.
Excellent fun and very hard work.
New Max HR!!!

A 20 sec mistake in both the 1st and 2nd races (head not up enough) meant I was 40 secs down on Dixie on the Chase. got within 10 meters of him but he was just too strong for me the Old Git.
A deserved win for him and 2nd for me after passing an under-the-weather Dave Robertson.

Please with how I ran considering the easy training I've been putting in.

Run warm up/down 1:00:00 [2]

Plenty of this - being the real professional today!

Memorable.

Run 39:00 [3]

Lunchtime recovery run round Kings Park. Wet and windy and ice rink underfoot. Bring back the snow I say!

Intervals hills 56:00 [4]

FVO' Club training's first hill session of the year.

A mega turnout. Me.

Set up my Garmin and grunted out 6 x 3 minutes up Ballengeich Road with 1 - 4 minute recoveries (depending on whether I had to descend the whole hill).

Warm up and down.

Had some tunes and enjoyed my first intervals of the new season. Loner.

Run 39:00 [3]

Usual from work. Sluggish in the slush. Slush on Ice. Nice.
Nerve pain from slip-sliding on Frday is still there...

Pilates 1:10:00 [2]

Pilates and circuits - first one of 2011 so pretty easy session.
Good to be back into the old routine. Great turnout.
