The morning after.
Only one pile of sick to clean up.....
A great week for British Juniors. Coaching team worked well and the athletes managed to get their best out of themselves - some real surprises!
A really enjoyable week........ Took all day to get home.
Missed my family loads.

JWOC Relay.
Teams did well to fight all the way.
Kris and Bex were excellent on 1st legs (Kris 4th!), some dropping on the 2nds then great runs by Hazel and Ralph to secure 9th and 8th spots.
Another year where we were sooooo close!
Great experience for all - everyone has learnt so much this week.
Banquet - a proper banquet and disco on a sultry hot night - excellent!

JWOC coaches race.
Same as girls 1 and 2 legs I think.
So hot and knackered I walked most of it trying to keep up with Jenny.
Started OK but then followed the Swiss coach on a long leg (Didn't have a compass with me) but he went awol mid-leg!
Crumbling at the end. Pathetic!

JWOC Middle Final.
Some excellent results. Poor Ralph - in 6th spot until the very last starter and then pipped by one second! Bloody Rasmus who pipped Kris in the sprint!

Solid race - tough area, hot and physical.
Team did great but the later runners (Pete and Ali) suffered from really late starts, deferred start (40 minutes) and fuelling issues.
Mairead - 20th! Ralph 13th!
