Orienteering 57:00 [5]

Scottish Relay Champs, Strathmashie.
Normally this is my sort of area, rough, tough and reasonably technical. But yesterday had taken its toll and I had nothing in my legs. Ran reasonably cleanly but wobbled later on and just lost the drive to push hard - hence way off the pace. Thankfully, I didn't drop any places so the 2nd team got 5th place! Knackered!
Tea shop at Laggan and then off to loch ness for part 2 of our holiday.
Loch Ness hostel is well nice - we had a nice private room, it has a large members kitchen, dining and sofa area and the views of the Loch are fab. A great evening was had relaxing....

Orienteering 1:22:00 [5]

Scottish Champs at Craigbuie.
A great area, great course, good tough terrain. I made a 3 minute error at no1 (didn't set a bearing!) and that was me out of the running. kept going hard and orienteered pretty well and clean most of the way but Roger had got me by 2 minutes in the end!
Steve Nich had kicked both our butts running M40 anyway!
Great orienteering - loved it!

Run 41:00 [4]

J and I headed into Knapdale forest, she walked whilst I did a lap of the Loch where the otters will be released shortly. Another lovely sunny day. from there we made our way across to Speyside - a brilliant drive!

Mountain Bike 2:30:00 [2]

Staying at Ferryman's Cottage, Crinan on the west coast with Janine's friends Gaynor and Andy. Absolutely fabulous spot on the headland of the estuary looking out to Jura. Did a fab long ride today around the area and through Kilmartin Glen - lots of standing stones, tombs and history everywhere. Stood in the foothole of the Kings at some castle too. A long day out but have just put in 2.5 hours. 2 hours fly fishing in the estuary to finish before a bar-b - brilliant weather!

Orienteering race 41:53 [5]

FVO Event at Polmaise.
Ran quite hard and took most of the best routes - hard to tell on this area. Surprised wo have won when I saw Roger 1/3 of the way round, i was well sure he'd beat me - but, he'd cocked up!
Had to dash after - headed straight off to the West coast.
