Long Steady 1:35:00 [4]
ahr:145 max:168

A run with Bradski from home up Dumyat and back. A fine day, if a little breezy, but great views and good banter. Brad powered away from the start (doesn't do slow or warm up pace!) and pulled easily away on the hill, but let me keep up with him otherwise. A great run and a good session of achievement when you've done it. 1050 calories burnt!
Room for a pie now ;-)
Plenty of gardening today too, getting old!

Mountain Bike 1:06:00 [3]

A wee potter from home on a cyclical route to Doune and back. Weather not so good today, but better than expected, both us wishing we had gone ahead and done the weekend ride from Callander to Killin and back. hey-ho, another time. Spent most of the day unpacking all the kids stuff we got from Peggy and Fraser! Brilliant!

Intervals hills 47:00 [5]

Lunch time session from work, run round Achray, through Doonans for 10 mins to foot of the Great Divide. Then 1 min on/30 off all the way up the mountain to the very top. Nearly sick at about half way, but hung in there (it only took 14 mins). Collapsed at the old radio mast base at the top, admired the views and then took the alternative route back towards Braeval. Found some excellent downhill mtb tracks through the forest back down towards Doonans and back. I should do this more often!

Orienteering race 48:01 [5] 6.7 km (7:10 / km)
ahr:160 max:181

FVO WEE at Plean Country Park, planned by Will.
It was a beast! A well planned, technically challenging, terrainy race. Too much nettles and brambles for my liking but a good blast. Fell into nettles near the pigeon shed - thanks Will!
Caught Jon just before master maps and it was relentless round the last third, I was running out of steam!
Might just be a winner!
Pirnhall for pie and jacket admiration.

Intervals intervals 50:00 [5]

First intervals in ages with Brad and Jon round the Uni Loch.
3/2/1/30 with 1 min recoveries then 1 x full lap of Loch.
9:18, just behind a flagging Jon (but still in front).

Aim to get this below 9 by the end of June?

Felt awful.

Run 36:00 [3]

I couldn't resist not getting out at lunch time in the glorious weather.
Headed out past the Rob Roy Hotel, on the old railway, over the bridge and into the forest to do a loop of Doon Hill and the climb up to the top and back. Fabulously sunny with great views on the hill. Tired from yesterday but, unlike running, not sore at all. Would have gone for longer if I could have....

Note

Hi to FatKev (aka Clarkey the fat cyclist frae Alford). A new AP user??!
