Terrain Run 1:10:00 [3]

Took my butt off to do a terrain run from the house. Good to be out and in the forest/hills again.

Orienteering race 1:01:00 [5]

New area near Dulnain Bridge. Small, but runnable with some nice detail. Went off hard to catch Ackers 2.5 mins, nearly caught him but then hit the wall after 25 minutes (!!) and just urvived the rest. To find that Ackers had beaten me by about 20 seconds!

Run warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Mountain Walk 2:15:00 [2]

J9 and I wanted to do Bynack Moor but the weather was Dreich so went and did Ben Rinnes. A nice wee hill. The weather actually improved a bit as we hit the top so we good some good views of the clouds below us, temporarily.

2008
354 hours in 366 days. Damn that flu and cold last month!
Hey-ho, I was never gonna beat Jon X!

Orienteering 1:00:00 [4]

A very cold day but I'd promised to take Jamie to do some technical training so we went to the East end of Docharn & Deisher and ran in to do a line O, control pick and then a course.
Of course I couldn't keep up with the wee ferrit so ended up missing bits out to re-catch him and did my own thing for the last course.
Good to be out and amazed at how warm you can get chasing whipper snappers, even at -8 degrees!

Ran through some core stuff back at his "summer"house.

Mountain Walk 2:30:00 [3]

Couldn't resist going into the hills on a perfect clear sunny, but blummin' cold day. Walked from the ski lifts across and up Lurchers Crag and the top next to it to bag some new Munros. Beautiful day!

Visited the posh'uns on the way home at Badaguish Lodge - by 'eck the place looks fab!
