Run 45:00 [3]

A very pleasant run with Toni around Doune whilst Janine pushed young Ellie along the old railway (NB no longer in use!).
Some good sunshine and Toni setting a cracking pace - great to be out.
Just what the Doctor ordered.

Fell Race 34:26 [4] 8.0 km (4:18 / km)

Cashel Trail Race, Loch Lomond.

I went along for the Forestry commission banter and to get Janine out of the house. Sniffley with the cold so took it steady on the hill climb - but couldn't help put go pretty hard. Some fantsastic views of Loch Lomond and a really nice day for a fell race. Wore trainers which proved to be a bad move on the downhill and smaller path sections at the end, but good fun.
Adam Ward 1st, Bob Wiseman 2nd, David Anderson 3rd, me 7th, Trevor Hoey 11th.
There was an interdepartment team prize but only the National Park Crew and FC had turned out in any number so we kicked butt dead easy - won a wooden carved apple as a prize - well nice!

Must come back next year - JS would have kicked the course record to smithereens!

Note
(rest day)

Back still sore, but improving.
Did some gardening - didn't help.

Run 37:00 [3]

Back still giving me gip. Especially at work. Not able to concentrate or sit at a desk for very long.
Had to get out for a looserner and it seemed to work, had a better evening and things don't seem so bad Friday morning.

Mountain Walk 1:10:00 [1]

A walk with Janine up to the Monument at Comrie. Good fun, muddy, dark, excellent!
We're both crocked - inflamed my SI joint driving long distances at the weekend - saw a chiropracter today. Should settle down in a few days hopefully.

Intervals 56:00 [5]

FVO Intervals around Stirling Uni Loch.

12 x 1 min on/1 min off.

With a good warm up, drills and warm down.
I started well but lost posture by the middle and ran out of steam nearer the end - when Abi Longhurst kicked my butt! Big respect!
Great session - lots of snorting and grunting going on!

Pilates 40:00 [3]
weight:69.5kg

FVO's first Pilates and core circuits session.
I was abit nervous at first, I don't normally work with seniors!
But it all came back to me and I hopefully covered up pretty well the bits where I'd lost track.
I love pilates and its benefits - which explains why I am reasonably competant at it. Was great to see so many others having a go and enjoying it.

Circuits 40:00 [3]

FVO session part 2.
More pain. I think I rushed the explanation of this too much and some of the sessions were a bit hard for a first sesh, so will run some level one and twos next week. No need to break everyone in the first week!
Thanks for coming guys!
