Orienteering 55:00 [3]

V tired today after yesterday (not sleeping well at the hostel either).
Did some of one course and then went and collected a large bunch on the northern end of the tricky stuff (much easier with the rides on the map!).

Orienteering 50:00 [4]

GB Squad weekend - staying at Slochd Summit. Morning session at Rogie - cold but dry'ish - followed Hector, then Pippa, then Hollie for most of the course - she was going really well!

Orienteering 1:28:00 [3]

Orienteering and then control collecting in Roseisle.
1:15000 in the detail - I had not chance - I can't see the ground let alone the map - hence I was out for ages -need to get my eyes sorted before the British!

Orienteering 44:00 [4]

Took some of the juniors to Suachie Crags to re-run the Club Champs race (meant to have gone to the Trossachs but it was a howling gale and lashing it down). Sauchie was nice and I seem to have avoided the worst bits and worked out where the map wasn't brill on this my 2nd attempt at the club champs - did miles better than last time (62 mins!).

Intervals hills 50:00 [4]
max:177

Short session tonight. Turned up and there was a record low turnout - me and Dave Nicol. Meant to do 8 x 2 mins with jog back recovery but as both of us were feeling delicate we decided on 6 x 2 mins.
A great session on the back castle path - I felt pretty good - but happy to have done a shorter session.

Run 1:02:00 [3]

A very nice headlamp run with 6 ladies (!) from Uni along through Bridge of Allan and up through Minewoods and then the Hermitage. A bit sore today so it wasn't as easy as I thought it was. Great to see such a large group out running. Good pub banter at the Westy after too.

Run intervals 1:27:00 [5]
max:177

First session back where I had decided the session. Damn - planning the session meant I had to do it! And it was a killer!
3 loops of the Hermitage hill on muddy footpaths.
Intervals of approx 3.5 min, 2 mins and 1 min with plenty of recovery waiting to regroup. Great to see a large group - I only hope I didn't put anyone off returning given the toughness of the session and the longevity - 87 minutes!!!!! How am I gonna get round tonight, and hills tommorrow and O'ing Friday, Saturday and Sunday and then gym Monday......... ;-P
