Orienteering 50:00 [3]

Coaching with Jamie S and ScotJos at Achray. they got pretty lucky with the weather - terrain tough, wet and slippy but teh kids were enjoying it.
Jamie going well - i think he's cracked Scottish O - just southern countour-less stuff to work on now.
I felt tired today and couldn't keep up with hill champ JS - never can anyway. Day off tomorrow (would have liked to have got back to circuits).

Orienteering race 1:02:00 [5] ** 8.4 km (7:23 / km) +220m 6:32 / km
ahr:170

Scottish Night Champs on Kinneil, Bowness.
Started too fast because I though Steve Nic have run an incredible time on our course (didn't realise the old git had entered M40!). Hence blew 4+ minutes at no 3 and spiralled out of control from then on. Used it more as an X-C race thereafter and so lost more and more time - esp when map was not up to scratch. Still, a good fun session!

Run 32:00 [3]

Managed to get out after work in the light (just). Up from home to Standing Stone and back - pushed it on the return - felt good to be back.
Still, a bit tired.

Note
(rest day)

Given that I'm still suffering from jetlag and have done two hard days back to back since landing I've decided to miss hills tonight. Shame - cos I like this new night/group/banter.... next week.

Orienteering race 55:00 [5]
ahr:170 max:186

Warm up and down (a bit!) and night race on East Dumyat. As it's my first hard, hard session in a month I got blown away (blew a gasket pretty much). Hard work running up hill and in terrain - but a great night and great session - cheers Fraser. Unfortunately that's me wiped out - don't think I'll be at hills tomorrow!

Run intervals 55:00 [4]
max:183

Full day at work (nodding off late afternoon) then quick shop and onto headlamp intervals in terrain. Not the best session to return from a month off but got my HR up and showed I've got some work to do! jon X still going strong.

Note
(rest day)

Last leg of the trip - Seoul to Heathrow then Heathrow to Glasgow and then bus and train to Dunblane. No taxi at Dunblane so decided to enjoy a chilly walk home - a good idea. No training again!
