Struck out again, this time along the Forth. Icy and tough going and I had sore bits from yesterday's run so didn't feel so bushy-tailed today.
And my teeth were throbbing cos of the cold!
Double-pants worked a treat.
Usual from work at lunch time, but in Dobbs.
Absolutely chuffed to be back out running, body not too bad but ITB's tight from lack of training and a bit wheezy. Very icy up round Kings Park but great being out and some fab views of the hills.
Should have worn a 3rd layer around my nether regions...
None of us well enough to run at the Tay xmas score but cabin fever saw us head out for some fresh air. Managed a walk up and over the hill with Matthew in the backpack (despite the icy tracks). Lovely to be out and also to catch up with folk. A cracking lunch in the Distillery tea shop afterwards.
Icy and snowy outside so didn't fancy the drive down the hill.
Deceided to run into work with backpack - Old Glen Road, Carse of Lecropt to the motorway and then across the fields to the Pipe bridge and through Riverside to work.
Tracked up most of the way, glad I wore dobbs. The tough bit was the fresh snow for 3/4 mile across the fields but only above the ankle.
Went to Grantown and back to switch the heating on.
Dug through to house etc, some exercise......
Good job. It was -13 degrees at 1pm.
They almost have as much snow as us.
