Cycling 2:21:00 [3] 44.0 mi (3:12 / mi)

Nice Recovery Ride in Chelan... From Wapato, to the State Park, and Back.... Lance decided he wanted to try the Chelan Butte Rd. (hill), and I was more into getting some time in my aerobars.... He biked the hill, and I rode to Pat and Mikes (2x) before starting to climb the hill to find him... Then we rode out to the State Park, and back to Wapato.... Followed up by some RELAXATION on the deck in the sun!!!! Good times!!!!!!!

Cycling 5:24:00 [4] 97.0 mi (3:20 / mi)
ahr:157

Biked the Ironman Canada course.... Weather was spectacular (75 degree's), with no wind! Only thing we skipped was the Out and Back... Instead we bike through town to the nearest gas station... Nutrition was good, and legs felt pretty good! May have taken a gu or 2 more knowing that I had to run after, come race day!

Nutrition: 2 1/2 Bottles of Infinit (mixed w/ a little Gatorade), 1 bottle of water, 2 GU's, and 7 thermolytes....

Note

This was a nice recovering day for me... My legs were feeling much like BRICKS the last couple workouts, so I needed a break... However sitting the car for 6 hours was not the easiest either!! But good for the body!!!

Swimming 30:00 [2]

Oh what a great day! It was nice to get out into the OPEN WATER for the 1st time this year. Went up to Beaver Lake and the weather, and water temp were spectacular!

Ryan and I swam for about 30 minutes in the open water, and worked on form, and spotting! If felt great to be back out in the waters!!! We swam maybe pretty close to 3/4 mile to a mile-- That would be my estimate... Closer to 3/4

Cycling 49:00 [4] 13.9 mi (3:32 / mi)

After our swim, Ryan and I went for a "leisurely bike ride." For me it was tough... For him... He was bored! Felt good for me to get out there and push it a little... I appreciated his patience today!

DUTHIE HILL....UMMMM.... ALWAYS A GOOD TIME!

Swimming 1:00:00 [3] 2.05 mi (29:16 / mi)

WU: 400 Free
MS: Pull Bouy 100, Fins 100, Hand Paddle 100, Normal Free x6
CD: Same as above however did 200's....

Finally felt like I got a GOOD SWIM IN!! Pool was actually very mellow! I loved it!

Running 45:18 [5] 6.3 mi (7:11 / mi)

Ran in 2 parts... 1st 15 minutes out and back, w/ racing flats (then met the wife to run w/ her)... She showed up, and said she couldn't run, and had to go, so I changed shoes, and went back out for another 30 minutes... Effort was redlined... 2 short runs all out... Felt good, and was glad I could maintain that pace, however @ the end I felt like my form was SLOPPY!!!

Cycling 40:00 [3] 13.0 mi (3:05 / mi)

It was a miracle that I got anything done at all yesterday! I was physically and mentally exhausted! Yesterday was a tough day, and I didn't get on the bike until 9:30 last night, so anything is better than nothing, but still don't feel like I am accomplishing anything!

Oh well!

Running 1:20:00 [3] 9.75 mi (8:12 / mi)

Oh good ol' Fraser!! Went for a run w/ him @ lunch, and does he have issues! He is such a nice guy, but always has some drama in his life! Whether it is girls, roommates, work, GI (that's right poop!), etc...

He and I went for a run, and he had to stop and stretch, then stop and poop, and I just kept plodding along! I told him that he just needs to catch up when he is done!!

We ran back to the office after 50 minutes, and I decided to keep going! It was just far too nice today!!!!!!!!!!!!
