Orienteering race 1:12:00 intensity: (1:00 @3) + (49:00 @4) + (22:00 @5) 14.2 km (5:04 / km)

10mila. Big target for the spring. Strong team (4th in 2014), 'home' terrain, high hopes.

2nd leg makes a couple of big mistakes, game over.

Ran the 8th leg, well behind the leaders. Started in the dark, but it was getting lighter the whole time. Saw very few runners (passed a couple on my leg, but never had company). Really enjoyed the course and terrain, but my body really doesn't like running at 3am (does anybody's?). Never really felt like I was running that fast, and it was hard to judge as I didn't have anybody to race, but I just kept on finding the controls and kept going.

Team finished 17th.

Steady run from Ostnor with 2*1km efforts to get the HR up and see how the body responds. Felt good and fast.

Gorgeous training in Skattungbyn (best bit of EOC 2012 long distance). Bit of new felling, otherwise amazing weaving between little lakes and marshes. Starting to feel a bit more like myself again, but still not 100%.
