Orienteering race 16:56 [5] 4.5 km (3:46 / km)

World Cup Final sprint in Liestal. Ran through a cafe (forbidden) about 10s after the start kite. Realised and ran back through it losing 30s or so (6 others got disqualified for running there and not going back). Then proceeded to make poor route choice decisions again and again - lack of sprint training really showing! Scrappy and well off the pace. Fun race as always though - great atmosphere and crowds.

World Cup final middle distance. Good performance in general. Little bit scrappy at times, but it was almost impossible to avoid losing seconds somewhere. Lost 20s twice (once poor direction to 9, and once at 12 when I trusted Ralph too much!).

Happy to be 1:20 from second place, even if Dani H blitzed everybody.
16th place.

Steady out to Doune Castle. Ran through Gary and Louise's garden, but I don't think they notices. Strides on the way home.
