Note

Looooooong day travelling to Sweden. Not very restful. Fell asleep on a 'sofa' at the airport for almost 2 hours

Morning test before relay. No chance. Legs wrecked, very bad feeling.


Long day watching the relay etc. Really cool to see the boys doing such a good job!

Orienteering race 1:35:04 [5] 22.0 km (4:19 / km)

EOC long final. Good performance, lost maybe 1 minute. 16th place +4:41.

Very happy with this. Had been feeling a bit flat after WOC tests, but I felt good and in control the whole way. I ran a controlled race, definitely not starting too hard, and in retrospect maybe I could have pushed more in the beginning, but maybe then I would have been slower in the last part where I had some really good splits. Good to be back racing well in international competitions!

EOC middle final. Very sloppy in the beginning dropping almost 1:30 on the first 5 controls. After very good, but the damage was done. 28th place, +3:11.
