Trail/terrain running warm up/down 14:04 [3] 3.16 km (4:27 / km)
ahr:141 max:158 shoes: Integrators

Warming up

Orienteering race 1:28:01 [5] ***** 16.48 km (5:20 / km)
ahr:172 max:183 spiked:37/40c shoes: Integrators

Eliteserie mass start long distance. 7th place, 2 minutes behind 1st and 2nd, but in a pack of 3rd to 20th (ish). Long and tough, was running at front for some, hanging just behind for some, and chasing for some when I missed. Ended up chasing as my pack missed at the end, and we had to catch up the big pack again. Finished strongly though.

Trail/terrain running warm up/down 12:15 [2] 2.0 km (6:08 / km)
ahr:121 max:132 shoes: Blue Saucony Triumphs

Attempting to jog a little after. Sore quads

Warming up and jogging after

Orienteering race 15:46 [5] ***** 4.27 km (3:42 / km)
ahr:173 max:182 spiked:21/22c shoes: Innov8s

Eliteserie sprint Astrid Lingrens World. Cool area, nice race, shocking map. I lost 20 seconds on one control when I decided not to run though a clearly passable arch way marked as uncrossable on the map, and decided instead to run through a 'white' area, which turned out to be a green swamp jungle. The race was retrospectively removed from the Eliteseries as so many people protested. Was in 3rd place with 1 control to go, and made a 15 second error to finish 7th dammit. Oh well, had good speed and legs felt 'ok' after tuesday - could still feel it a bit but didnt really slow me down.

Trail/terrain running 21:08 [2] 3.8 km (5:34 / km)
shoes: Blue Saucony Triumphs

Just a little jog around Boson in prep for this evening

Cycling 1:00:00 [2] 20.0 km (3:00 / km)

Cycling to the race via the bike shop for a new inner tube and the supermarket for a coke and a kanelbullar, and then back from the race in the pissing rain via Holmbergs place.

Trail/terrain running warm up/down 35:00 [3] 7.0 km (5:00 / km)
ahr:133 max:168 shoes: Blue Saucony Triumphs

Long warm up around the stadium and out in Lil-Jansskogen

Trail/terrain running warm up/down 12:30 [2] 1.79 km (7:00 / km)
shoes: Blue Saucony Triumphs

Very easy jogging with Holmberg. Legs quite tired understandably

Road/track running race 30:58 [5] 10.0 km (3:06 / km)
ahr:176 max:192 shoes: Blue Saucony Triumphs

10,000m on the track at Stockholm Stadion (Olympic stadium from 1912). Great venue for a race, even if it was pissing it down. Had a previous pb of 32.15 from a windy day on the road and I really wanted to destroy that. Decided to aim for 31.15 with lap times around 75 seconds and then see what happened. Started off at the back of the lead pack of 6 which quickly got away from everybody else. We were generally running around 74-75 second laps which felt pretty comfortable. After about 4km a couple of guys dropped off, and then another at 5. Another fell back about 7km with the pace still pretty stable. I then was able to run behind the lead guy in an easy 2nd place for a few laps. With 4 laps to go he started to pick the pace up, and I stayed with him till 800m to go. He started to open a little gap, and was maybe 5m ahead with 400 to go. Then in the next 300m he destroyed me opening around 30m gap. I had a strong finish though and just sneaked under the 31minutes which I am ecstatic about. My official time was 30.58,8, and the winner ran 30.52.
Chuffed with that :)
I was really worried about my calf before the race, and as expected it is tight now, but during the race it felt fantastic.

Climbing 1:30:00 [1]
slept:7.5 weight:61.4kg

3 hours ar the wall with Jonn Are. It's amazing what 3 sessions at the wall can do. No longer struggling with pathetic short climbs (relatively). Conquered my first 5c, and was pretty comfortable on back to back 5a and 5bs. Most cool was the uphill monkey bars. 2 weeks ago I couldn't do any - now I can do the first 5 :)
