Was sightseeing in Stockholm today. Saw Ulrika-ka-ka Johnsson on Gamla Stan!

5 as side with Lidingo guys. Somehow I managed to score all 7 of my teams goals, but I think it was much more by luck than judgement, and the fact they didn't trust me to defend. One of the goals the keeper managed to kick it onto the defenders ass and it dropped down right in front of me to leave an open goal - nice :)

Got my heart rate quite high, but I think the football might have helped.

Training in Hemfosa-Ekeby, about 20-30km south of Stockholm. Caught the train there with Signe and Rasmus, and train times meant that we were a bit restricted for training time, with only one train home every hour. I will put my map on my website sometime, but the terrain was quite nice, if really tough going. Quite bushy forest in places, with a fair amount of snow on the ground. They seem to be building a new motorway directly through the map, and number 5 was actually in the middle of a building site which was interesting. There was also a large felled area, presumably where the road will go eventually when they start building further down.
It was pretty undulating with loads of short climbs, and lot of rock features, and I found it quite tricky in the circle with the 1:15,000 map, especially when there were no tapes or controls in the forest.
The last 5-10 minutes my right calf was starting to hurt a little bit, so I am glad that I didn't plan to do some more as well. I will have a rest from running tomorrow and monday now, in time for the time trial on Tuesday, which I hope I can run ok.

This was meant to be an intensity 4 session, but the new road and standing around scratching my head really lowered my HR average.

Run round Stockholm City and Kungsholmen with Emil. Was supposed to meet Holmberg and Hultgren too, but they disappeared without trace....

Calf felt a bit sore on the harder surface stuff, but the pace was ok for it really. Stomach wasn't too great though

Hanging controls Lill-Jansskogen. Original calf injury feels great, but both my calves have small other problems, probably from all the calf 'strengthening' I have been doing. Hmmm.

Cycling to shops on Lidingo. Rear tyre wore through and inner tube popped out. Dammit. Had to be rescued by Emil, ran out of time to do anything training wise, and hitched a lift home from club training where I did nothing except get some free food. Will have to go and rescue bike from where I left it tomorrow.

Intervals on indoor track at Boson with IFK Lidingo. Started with group of boys, then decided to push a little more on my own. Felt so amazing to run fast again after so long! :) Could only do 2 sets though, not 3 as calf started to get sore - really worked it hard today, will have to rest it tomorrow.
