Run - Terrain40:00 [3] 6.4 km (6:15 / km) (sick)shoes: Freet Mudgrip
Unable to resist the temptation after two days of watching everyone racing I decided to take myself for a little run in the terrain on today's competition area. with a hefty dose of paracetamol to temper the throat pain.
Felt ok in general but legs felt heavy and lungs felt reluctant to open fully.
Still full of cold and razor blade throat on Friday, both Laura and I decided it was best not to compete in the individual days and to hope that we'd be well enough by Monday to run in the relays. We went to both Sat and Sun to enjoy the atmosphere and see people and of course to get the mini easter eggs from the string course.
Clearly Sunday was a premature return to running. By Sunday night my throat was starting to fire warning shots. By Monday morning it felt like I was swallowing razor blades. And Raffy seems to have it too.
