Hamptworth. Black, 10.7km.

With fewer hours' sleep than the number of legs I have, after both Laura and I being up with Maya suffering croup all night, I wasn't feeling on top form.

Running felt fine, but the brain was very sleepy. Lovely area, and a good course.

Missed 3 by switching off half way to it.
Went horribly wrong on the way to 7 losing about 2 mins. I was next to an earth wall crossing a ditch but I just wouldn't believe that it was the one shown 300m north of the control. So I ran the opposite way, away from the control.

After that no biggies and managed a few fastest splits.

Pleased to be less than 90 sec down on the winner.

I could feel the cabin fever setting in so went for a quick little trot around the roads. Cleared the sinuses out quite nicely, and didn't feel too bad at all. Really must get back on the case with these shoes.

No sooner has the tonsillitis cleared up than I catch a cold. Another one brought home from nursery. Maya had it last week, Laura over the weekend. My turn now. It only seems to a few days worth so fingers crossed for the weekend.

Had a couple of errands to do this morning in Shirehampton village and the city centre, so I went en velo to loosen the legs from last night.

Jog from the rugby club to Glenavon, drills, strides, and jog back after the session.

5*1250m with 2:00 recovery. Didn't feel brilliant tonight. Felt quite sluggish with a groin niggle annoying me, but happy with the rep times. We were given the option of a 6th rep but I declined it tonight.
