Note

And now I've got a cold. Came on suddenly last night.

7 AM

Run - Off road (RTW) 46:37 [3] 9.67 km (4:49 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Roclite 295

A rather wet and muddy run through Badock Wood, Southweed, airfield and Cribbs.

Left hamstring is not happy at all. First intervals session in 5 weeks followed by a 2 hour run probably upset it.

Note

Was supposed to be running the Weston Prom tonight, but wimped out. After spending all day on my hands and knees sanding the babyroom floorboards, and with sore legs from being Craneyed yesterday, I just couldn't face it.

Run - Off road long 2:01:36 [3] 27.25 km (4:28 / km) +161m 4:20 / km
shoes: Nike Zoom Vomero+ 5

Now I'm home during the week I applied to join Craney's study leave running club. In true Team Monday style, I was well and truly beasted for my initiation. The first half we were sub-4min/k, but then we turned head to wind and started to climb, and I started to flag. Should have eaten more this morning.

Ran to Craney's, then dropped down towards Hallen and wiggled our way along a load of footpaths/cycle paths through the industrial estates, out on to the banks of the Severn, upstream under the second Severn Bridge, more footpaths, Easter Compton, Hollywood Lane, around airfield, Brentry, every corner of the David Lloyd car park, Badock Wood, and home.

Schnitzer - I feel I'm about to get an insight into your world. You don't know how lucky you are having all this time free!

12 PM

Bike on road (BFW) 45:00 [3] 20.0 km (26.7 kph)
shoes: Mongoose Maurice Singlespeed

Left work at lunchtime and extended the ride home to enjoy the bright sunshine and (relative) warmth.

Cribbs, Henbury, Kingsweston Lane, Sea Milfs, wiggled my way up Stoking the Bishop and Sneyd Park, around Downs, Redland, and Henleaze.

5 weeks of gardening leave begin from now...
6 PM

Run - Off road (Monday night run) 1:22:00 [3] 15.0 km (5:28 / km)
shoes: Inov8 Roclite 295

Run from the f-ing skank pit in Clifton. Keith, Craney, Charles, and Ben and Chris Kelsey. Ashton Court, Ashton Plantation, Failand, golf course, then got all very confused somewhere near the quarry road. Not one of us had any clue what road we were standing next to, but then we stumbled back to where we left AC, and ran back from there.

Garmin ran out of battery part way round so the distance is a bit of a guess.
