Ran in the rain along the Gunpowder and upland areas. About 1 mile through forest off-trail. Had to ford river to get back. Lots of beaver activity.

More Pine Barrens. Further down-river, so the current was faster. Also, all the rain added more flow to the water. They are apparently draining the cranberry bogs for the summer, so that added water, too. Fun!

Kayaking in the Pines Barrens of New Jersey. Flat, narrow and winding river. Good upper body workout.

Trail Running (Blueberry-land) 51:00 [3] 5.0 mi (10:12 / mi)

Ran through the Pine Barrens. Flat, sandy open pine forest with shin to knee high blueberry bushes everywhere. Several miles crosscountry. Kind of scratched up the legs. Rained the whole time so it rinsed the blood off the top of my head from a collision with a tree limb while kayaking.
