orienteering 1:30:47 [3]

Ran from home through the pines to petticoat to do some orienteering (meant to run over with gin because he knew where we were starting, but he dissapeared over a knoll 500m from home and I never saw him again....) which took longer than planned because I got a bit lost (since my guide had ditched me).

Then did a course through the mining but totally died early - got really hot, thirsty, and hungry so just bumbled around half-heartedly. Tried to tell myself to man up and do the course properly but I was a big sissy today and cut it short and went back to the car. Poor effort ...

running intervals 48:30 [4]

Supramax ints.
Felt pretty good warming up but only did a moderate session so I'm not too tired for tomorrow. Super nice in the forest this evening!

orienteering intervals 1:01:49 [5]

Sprintervals at uni of ballarat all by my lonesome (but mother very kindly came and met me at the finish and started me on each int :)) on a lovely ballarat summer day - 11 degrees and pissing with rain

Did four efforts of 5-8min each, walking recovery between (incl in time). Felt good but also very tired (if that makes sense) - legs still fatigued from tassie camp I think. Really good hard session though!

orienteering 1:01:50 [4]

Warm up along the road, two thirds of a mass start relay course, rest, the other third of the relay course, then control collecting as warm down.

Physically felt tired but tried to push a bit harder, and nav was mostly pretty good for the first race then TERRIBLE for the second - completely overshot a control when I forgot the map was at 1:5000

orienteering 17:57 [3]

Jog at Bicheno, did the controls along the rocky coast part. Everyone was a bit too tired to do anything too intense. A jog was good!

orienteering 1:19:40 [3]

Morning course at mt pearson. Had some brain fades in parts - sometimes find it hard to really race and focus properly during relaxed training like this. Got a good terrain run though and spiked the controls when I was focussed (haha)
