Today the start was up a massive mtn (2km with >400m climb or something), and the finish was also at the top of this ridge. So warm up and down was to/from there. I only ran a very little bit of it, but I sure was sweating on the way up - so I reckon it counts as a warm up!

Final day of racing for me. Awesome open area at the top of the ridge - with amaaaazing views. Lots of complex contour and cliff details. I made a few mistakes - including a big one of 4mins :( and apart from that I was just too hesitant and slow. Feel like I don't have much terrain fitness, especially when the ground is so soft and marshy. But not much I could have done about that living in the centre of adelaide....so will just have to deal with it.
Also I fell into a marsh that was up to my hips and I honestly thought I was going to get sucked up and die for a second....took a good while to get myself out again :/
