Longer warm up to try and get my quads and glutes feeling a bit less achy and weak.

orienteering race 1:05:10 [5]

Quads and glutes still very tired today, but felt a bit happier and more relaxed mentally so was more positive I'd be able to orienteer properly. Overall an okish run, made a 90sec mistake early and was generally not great on my compass. Plus when I started catching Bridget I started making more small mistakes. Felt better than I thought I would running, but not as sprightly as normal due to sore legs. Bridget and I had a sick race towards the end when I finally caught her, it was fun as! :)

Glad I could pull myself together after a rough week and do some proper orienteering today, especially with WUOC coming up so fast! Dunno how much O I'll be able to do between now and then (not much probably)

Really tired both physically (glutes and quads v fatigued and sore from gym yesterday) and mentally (so so so over uni right now), so wasn't in the best state to orienteer and it went pear shaped after no1 and I was just too tired to bother so skipped controls randomly and just jogged trying to enjoy myself. Some might think this was undisciplined of me, but when I'm in a state like this I think it's better to take it easy rather than orienteer badly and get frustrated and angry with myself. If that makes sense.

At gym with physio. Didn't get as smashed as last time, maybe I won't have as much DOMS! Maybe. Good session anyway!

Felt awful this morning. Made myself go running but felt tired and cranky so cut it short.

Easy run with surges. Felt bad for not doing much this morning so made myself go after uni, but had a big headache and just felt really tired. Kept thinking it was Friday today - dammit!!

Ok it is a little bit cold today. But still not as bad as Canberra or Ballarat (which was 3.4 degrees at 11am HAHA)

1k reps up and down the river, for a change from doing them on the uni track. Think I prefer doing them like this - it was fun! Pretty wet at the start but not that cold.

Just a strength session (100% glutes and quads focus) today as I've been feeling not-so-great running recently so want to make sure I'm properly recovered. Feel like I'm starting to get sick of my honours project......dunno how I will/would ever get through a phd!

I actually got into my running clothes when I woke up and sat in them all day at uni.....then decided I didn't want to go running. Didn't even want to do my physio exercises. Woops.
