Long run on the great dividing trail from somewhere near ballarat to daylesford. Gfry started on the track a little further from daylesford than me, so I thought I should have a ~1km head start on him, and he'd catch me pretty quickly....but I only saw him at the end after i'd finished :s Pretty good run, but the map is shocking, so there was a lot of confusion about where moth was picking me up haha.
Felt reasonable for most of it, but got very tired near the end at about 90mins and had to crawl up the hills!
Shin was good during but a little sore after.
Went out to do some oing at petticoat gully, moth had set some O intervals through the complex mining. Moth and Gfry put some tapes out and me and gin 'raced' the ints. Not really my day: was feeling crappy physically and really wasn't focused on the navigation. Just kind of bumbled around half-heartedly until I decided I wasn't learning a thing so cut the intervals short.
Would have been a sweet session if I was feeling better.
Time includes warm up and warm down on tracks, but cant be bothered logging it separately
Same session as last week: 2x8min at tempo pace, with 1 min jog in between. Felt a bit tired warming up but then managed ok during the efforts, did them on the sick single track next to white swan.
Shin a little twingy on warm down but mostly really good!

Very easy run straight after a massive storm had gone over! Lots of thunder still around, so it was pretty exciting :D
Core and stretching. Also got some sweet recovery in the water today, cuz it was freezing!! Classic Victorian beach...

Wanted to test out the shin, and it was good warming up so did the session I was meant to today: 3,2,1,3,2,1 hills with jog back recovery. Found it pretty tough! Legs seemed to be lacking energy so wasn't going as fast as I'd like.
Felt shin in warm down, but nowhere near as bad as Sunday...
