running hills 48:16 [4]
pretty nervous about this - wasnt sure how shin would hold up with 2 runs in 1 day and i havent done a hard session in...forever.
anyhoo, didnt turn out too badly. did 8x1min hills, just with walk back down recovery at this stage (included in time). shin hurt a bit in the walk recoveries but on the whole was ok.
obviously i was really slow, and as it's been so long the idea of max efforts was a bit weird for my body so i dont think it was an all-out session. however, it was a good starting place :D
the rest of this week is pretty easy, so shin (and legs) should recover no problemos
