got up extra early for my 'long' run, cuz i was so excited for it....went to bruce ridge and ran for 10mins then pulled the pin because my stupid shin was hurting in a bad way. wish it would just go away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so FRUSTRATED

lovely spring morning for a run....... -6 degrees, apparent temp of -9.7 (when i got out of bed). HA! it was awesome.
shin was sore so cut the run short. think i just need a new strip of kinesio tape, swear by that stuff!

trainer ride in the sun while trying to learn everything for my anatomy prac test which is going to be HELL because there is sooooo much to remember! found it was a really good way to study.

Easy morning jog up to majura pines and back, just as the sun was rising which was coool.
Felt quite good, shin was a little sore at times

felt ok, shin is sore to touch but was ok to run on

easy morning run, pretty frosty this morning. spent ages melting the ice off the windscreen. there was the most awesome sunrise though!

entered vic champs - soooooo excited. dont think ive ever been so excited to go orienteering :D

running hills 48:16 [4]

pretty nervous about this - wasnt sure how shin would hold up with 2 runs in 1 day and i havent done a hard session in...forever.
anyhoo, didnt turn out too badly. did 8x1min hills, just with walk back down recovery at this stage (included in time). shin hurt a bit in the walk recoveries but on the whole was ok.
obviously i was really slow, and as it's been so long the idea of max efforts was a bit weird for my body so i dont think it was an all-out session. however, it was a good starting place :D

the rest of this week is pretty easy, so shin (and legs) should recover no problemos

such a nice sunny day i just had to go riding around the lake and put my magpie fear aside! so on the way to uni i did a diversion around the west basin. a shame i didnt have more time before my first lecture but ohhh well, really really enjoyed it.
time includes ride home from uni.
