black mtn O + long w/u/d, with a black and white map from the 70's, oriented to true north and with a scale of 4inches = 1mile. hahaha.
logging this as running cuz not much navigation was involved (on my part). did a shortish warm up then the course then quite a long warm down (like 40mins i think).
was taking it all pretty easy and felt ok...good long terrain run :) but awful orienteering by me...
Did some ints near bluetts, on the gently undulating tracks near the river...planned to do 4 x 4mins, but on the first one I accidentally ran past 4mins to 5mins instead! So ended up doing 5 x 5 mins. (5 of them cuz I wasnt tired enough after 4)
Haha.
Good sesh but I shouldn't leave it so late in the day!
ride to uni then continued around the lake. seem to remember riding round the lake usually takes me way longer...? or maybe im thinking of something else!
anyway, my achilles has been hurty :( so am not running today.. just gotta remember how to STRETCH
Hanny sesh at haig park. Felt quite good! Woo! Session felt easier than usual but forgot to float the recoveries again....didn't have a very large area to do it in so did heaps of laps of the same bit...which got a little boring after awhile. Maybe I can find a better place somewhere....

cockies run.... but not really cuz i ran by myself after getting there late !! could see everyones lights at the start so was chasing them but must have started following some riders or something by accident cuz i lost them all haha.
anyway, not too fussed that i missed the group run cuz i wasnt feeling v good and hence was running extremely slowly so probably would have been dropped anyway.
New hill sesh on black mtn, basically one long tempo out along the super undulating track and then back, including half up to the summit.
Prob looked really slow but it was hard!!!! good sesh, plan to do it every Tuesday.....

Didn't wanna crack out my lights.....but it was really dark near the end so I gave in. However two out of three of my lights didn't work >:(
fun riding in the dark though!! :D
