running warm up/down 15:00 [3]

pretty slack warm down
and we were late so my warm up wasnt so good either :S

orienteering race 45:38 [4] 4.5 km (10:08 / km)

event at honeysuckle, should have run 21's cuz this wasnt long enough!
not very happy with time. physically felt good (had heaps of energy at the end though...so probably should have run faster) but i wasnt aggressive enough.
technically was okk. didnt make any major mistakes but seemed to screw around alot and couldnt get any flow - but maybe thats cuz honeysuckle is so thick.
:( grrr i could do so much better!

orienteering 25:33 [3]

took my mums map once she'd finished and did some of her course, cuz my course wasnt long enough and didnt go in the tricky vague bit.
twas good :D spiked all but one of them cuz i was about 20m too high and couldnt see through all the bushes.

dont think i did a good enough warm up :S

orienteering race 18:18 [5] 3.0 km (6:06 / km)

sprint at murryong east. started 1min after my dad and eon was 1min after me, for abit of pressure.
navigation was only ok, made afew small mistakes that would have added up to a minute or so :(
felt pretty average at the start but then felt really good in the second half and still had heaps of energy left at the end....so maybe didnt go hard enough... :S

orienteering 19:09 [4] 3.3 km (5:48 / km)

me and olle did another course after the proper race.
went out hard but then majorly overshot the second control (probably cuz heather and luke were shadowing me...and i really hate being shadowed!) but the rest was ok and i slowed down abit once i'd caught olle.
twas good :)

cockies intervals in the morning.
did 5 loops of various lengths of about 700m to 1.2km.
felt pretty good on the first two but then completely died for the last ones! twas a really good session though, had some good hills in it too :)

last wednesday event! :(
legs were abit stiff so i didnt feel as though i was going very fast...also took some wrong routes on two and maybe three controls.
but atleast i beat my dad again! :)

set myself a course to do after the proper one. didnt go so hard but felt tired and navigation was pretty dodge cuz i dont think i was putting 100% in :( .....maybe cuz of super stressful day at school :(

went out to orroral (granite, steepish and kinda thick) with lachy and george (and my parentals) for some technical training

orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

two loops of control picking
navigation was shocking!! was pretty difficult exercise but i couldnt really interpret the map as i got in the control circle and so kept screwing around and wasting heaps of time
very frustrated!! :(

orienteering 27:00 [3]

lachy, george, my dad and i did a handicapped race after the control picking. we all had slightly different courses so it was kind of relay style.
navigation was much much better, spiked all the controls :) physically felt really good too.
and i won our race :P
