running intervals 56:00 [4]

fairly easy session - 4 x 3min and 1 x 5min on single tracks at stromlo. felt really strong in the legs, expecially up all the hills. i've decided the single tracks are pretty good to train on cuz they're pretty rough and undulating so its good for orienteering :) but not so good for speed cuz you have to slow down round the switchbacks and all that stuff....

Note

we're leaving to lorne tomorrow so i wont be able to log anything for about a week, but its very exciting cuz lorne has really nice places to run, and lots of hills!!! :D
and im very motivated to start training hard again :)

Note
(rest day)

soooooo tired today, didnt get much sleep last night and had a massive nap in the afternoon which made me feel heaps worse (and i actually feel like im still dreaming this)...so i was very lazy and had another rest day :(

the SCARIEST thing ever happened to me afew nights ago:
i woke up during the night and was about to go back to sleep when i thought i heard someone walking past my bed, and i kept hearing the sound of someone walking around so i sat up to look around my room...and i saw the silhouette of a person standing at the end of my bed, so then i actually almost had a heart attack!!! but it turned out to only be my mum coming down to sleep in my room because it was too hot upstairs.....but i was convinced i was about to get murdered!!!

orienteering 34:00 [3]

started waaayyy too hard considering it was longer than a normal sprint and about 40 degrees. and my navigation was terrible so i was just kind of running around not looking at my map.
by control 15 i started feeling really dizzy and realised i hadnt sweated a drop...which is kinda unusual...SO i cut the course short :(
still really tired from nz!
