Ez up the river. Overtook a woman who was running slightly slower than me, and two seconds later she sprinted past me. She gradually slowed down again and I almost caught her before she looked over her shoulder, saw me, and sprinted away again....repeat X10. It was hilarious so I kept running for longer than I had planned just to see if she would crack. She started looking kinda pissed so I eventually turned around haha. Weird.

Long warm up, sprint into spring, warm down, training exercise, warm down. SOMEBODY forgot my running gear so I ran in my casual shoes which wasn't ideal. But it didn't really matter because I was already feeling tired and uninspired and mehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

It was fun though

Sprintervals plus running there from home (the long way) and then back afterwards (the slightly shorter way because I was smashed). It was really fun but I felt a bit like arse running :( I think it was because I was super hungry

Hills - same as last week (4x4min, 4x1min). Felt quite light headed and weak at the start but didn't want to skip another session so pushed through and then felt better as the session went on (?!). It was fun

Mile repeats up the river. Took longer than usual because I had to go a long way around construction. Been a while since I've done this session so it felt quite hard and I felt slow.

Off to Sydney tomorrow to present at a conference, which is stressful enough, but I'm leaving before 6am and back at 10pm so will be WRECKED. Have already decided I'll be too brain tired to do the sprint on Saturday!

4x~4min hills, which were quite steep so then I also did 4x~1min on the "flattest" section to get some speedy-strength (or something....i dunno I just make all of this up!!). It was actually really fun

Long hill reps. Went four times up a 4min hill, with jog back down recovery. The hill was quite steep though so going back down was actually hard work on my quads. Might have to do one more rep next time...

Aus relays, first leg. Had an ok run, though was pretty sloppy when the other girls were around. Once I was by myself I was navigating a lot better! Super fun, and heaps heaps easier to read the map at 1:10 than yesterday at 1:15!!
