Ints along a fire trail from our accom in katoomba. It was very hilly so my efforts were somewhat slowwww. But super nice morning and sunrise! Slept terribly though so may crash this arvo/evening and be unable to get up at 6am again tomorrow :/

Ultra long. Thought i had done very badly on the first loop - felt slow running and had made a tonne of mistakes. Early on the second loop I suddenly realised I'd skipped the previous control. Stopped for a while and considered going back but then was like nah f this I'm already way off the pace. Walked for a while then decided it would be good training to continue on, so I kept going but didn't run particularly hard. But then I got to the finish in third .....so I'm feeling pretty dumb right now

Ez in Ballarat. After 5 ish weeks of only running on the bike path in Melbourne it was so unbelievably nice to run in a nice quiet forest on some dirt tracks :) also super surprised I haven't got myself injured (yet!)

20H 4E 15H 3E 10H 2E 5H, 5min break then 4x200. Did the 20 and 15min faster than usual (or it felt faster anyway, I never look at my pace or distance) so was freaking cooked for the 10 and 5min. Legs are dead now

Up the river with some 200s. Had a splitting headache and feeling totally exhausted mentally (not entirely sure why, but have been stressing too much about uni/getting a job post-PhD) so I just didn't have any oomph to do a proper session.

Ez. Yesterday was the ultimate test for whatever is up with my knee, and I think it passed because it was no worse today (but still clunky). Legs were a bit tired from yesterday.

Also I've waited 2.5 years for this day.....I think I finally hate my PhD and want it to end.
