no huge mistakes, and felt much more into the map than yesterday, but i was still 10mins behind my dad!! grr!!
probably cuz i was felt tired running, and i did have afew wanders and little mistakes in the circle that would have added up.....
grrr....

very short warm up - we were very late to the event and so had to hurry to start!!

really enjoyed the map and course, but made so many little mistakes that would have added up to quite a significant amount of time...
which is annoying!
and i was feeling tired and sore and slow :(

oh my god i was so extremely tireddddd, had to walk up heaps of hills :(
also made some stupid stupid mistakes cuz i was in such a huge oxygen deficit. the mass start was fun though :D

did 3 x 3min, 3 x 2mins, 3 x 1min, 3 x 30secs all with 1min jog recovery. except the 30secs had 30sec jog recovery.
felt ok, soleus was sore but i just ignored it.....
i think i kinda cheated on the first one though, cuz it was mostly all downhill.

i decided training by yourself can actually be really good cuz it teaches you to push yourself when noone else is there, like in orienteering :D

@ black mountain, cuz stromlo is getting boring.
started by going straight up to the top (which may have been a bad idea cuz i hadnt even warmed up) and then went along all the rollercoaster kinda tracks around to little black mtn and then went around it for abit and then back to the car.
pretty tough run, the tracks were always going either up or down.

wasnt really looking at my time, cuz i knew it would be slow.
and it probably was, i was feeling awful

what an awful awful session!
i did 4 x 1km on the most disgusting track on stromlo (i.e all uphill....and you could see the whole track from the start going slowly up and up, which made it worse) completely by mistake. on the map it looked alot nicer.
and then 5 x ~30sec hill intervals.

badge event @ kowen pine forest
felt good running, except for one hill at the end.
and navigation was ok - lost 3.5mins at #7 cuz i was STUPID and didnt read my map properly. also lost abit through all the short controls at the end cuz i was trying to run too fast. other than that they were good.
eon beat me by 2mins :(

but i think i magically produced some speed out of nowhere cuz i managed to beat my main rivals :S
sooo i was actually pretty happy with this :D

nice scenery though :) and i only saw 1 rider, which is weird for sparrow...

saturday event control collecting...well, part of it anyway. i had to give up running after a while cuz i was in a big tangle with all the controls and stands haha.
wanted to go for longer cuz i wasnt very satisfied with this run, but we had to get back home :(
