Aus long. Mispunch :'( I punched number 78 (instead of 76) which was on the same feature as mine, ~150m away, and was also a drinks control. (And yes I did check my numbers but must have seen the 78 as 76). Soooo that's quite annoying, but I should have been more careful. At least my time was quite ok - 2min ish behind Tash. So that's nice.

Sprint - I was an MP because my SI air didn't register at one control and I was already a few steps away when I realised, so didn't bother going back. Yep, I'm pretty lazy. (So Simon, you still can't blame my MPs on the fact that I don't check control numbers :P)

Felt a bit bleh so took it pretty easy

Aus middle champs. Happy with the result of course, but boy what a terribly scrappy run!! Made so so many small mistakes, and felt woeful running :/ it was very fun though, but I hope to redeem myself next weekend with a much better technical performance...and hope to feel a bit better running!

Aus sprint champs. Felt absolutely horrendous running - I suspect (hope) it was just the heat. Had an extremely dry mouth and legs felt like lead. After the first few controls my head turned to jelly too and I was running about all over the place - was not being very precise at all and felt like I bled a lot of time!! Surprised by the result, and it was fun, just not a great effort by me

Did quite a long warm up and down.....maybe a bit too long because now I'm tired. And also had to collect controls

Vic middle champs. Had a pretty good run, but made a couple of small mistakes and did some stupid zig zags in the middle of the longer legs. It was really fun though! Didn't feel super sprightly running and actually felt a little sick during the first half :/ hope I feel faster tomorrow...

Qld champs day 2. Had a kinda sloppy run - made one 3min mistake plus numerous smaller <1min ones. Just after I caught Anna and Bridget we came across Winnie with a bung knee. She told us to keep going so i continued but didnt realise Anna and Bridget went back to help - feel extremely bad about that!!! Sorry everybody :( not long after that I stepped on a fricking huge black snake which writhed ferociously....that scared the bajeezus out of me and it took me a long while to focus again!! Apart from all that it was really fun, such amazing areas to run in

Qld champs day 1. Mmm cascades:) :) my run was ok, not great though...made some small mistakes and was really hesitant (though I guess being too aggressive can backfire here!!), didn't feel like I ran quite hard enough maybe because I was being too careful. Anyway, it was super fun :D

Suuuuper nice run in the mtns today, went on some rough trails (involving a lot of stairs and a lot of boulder scrambling) and attempted to do 40/20s but it probably wasn't an ideal track for that haha. So fun though
