relay
yay we won (not including NZ)!!!
except i was really dissapointed with my run, felt exhausted and couldnt move my legs the whole way, and cuz of my tiredness i wasnt navigating very well at all and screwed one of the early controls pretty badly.
oh well.......

schools champs
pretty good....lost afew mins overall from wandering off my compass, and was abit hesitant in the mining stuff. also probably went abit too hard at the start cuz i was completely stuffed by the last loop and had to walk heaps up the hill haha.

then lost 1sec in the finish shoot deciding wether or not i could jump the river :P

dont know what was wrong with me today but i just felt tired and couldnt-be-bothered :( navigation was all over the place but i managed to not have any huge mistakes. felt really slow and sluggish running though...grr...

yay i loved this terrain, it reminded me of ballarat :)
had a pretty clean run, afew hesitations and wobbles coming into controls but otherwise very happy with it :D

the weather was so weird today, all the dust looked like there had been bushfires or something :S

did afew 200s. they were fast! (by my standard anyway) :D

also had my LAST EVER english oral today, which means i will never again have to give a talk about something i have no idea about!!! YAY!

hehe this was such fun!
eon came with me so we went to explore the top of narrabundah hill in the dark...and then on the way back we saw THE scariest dog (bull terrier kinda thing) next to the footpath. it was just standing there staring at us so we crossed the road and it just kept giving us a death stare and not moving....so then we ran really fast back home :P

yahh felt really good, did:
2 x 1min30 (1min30 rec @ ~5min/km)
4 x 1min (1min rec @ ~5min/km)
4 x 30sec (30sec rec @ ~5min/km)
4 x 15sec (15sec rec @ ~5min/km)
legs still felt alright after....so maybe i didnt do enough. although it was pretty hard without a proper slow recovery

relocation exercise with emily :D
it was good, we got them all fine

i dont think i did quite 10mins but oh well

orienteering race 30:00 [5] 4.9 km (6:07 / km)

we did a race after relocation stuff. somehow i ended up taking exactly 30mins
twas good, i tried to go hard and race it properly.
went to the wrong #1 but it was on the way to my actual one so it wasnt that bad....and had afew little wobbles after that. felt tired up some hills too.
olle beat me by 2mins :(
but atleast i beat my dad for the first time ever :D

running hills 1:04:21 [5]

wasnt feeling so good warming up so ditched the 1km reps i was going to do and did hills instead (i dont know why i thought they would be easier...)

so did 16 x 41-43 seconds up a sorta steep hill. felt good despite my bad warm up. there is something i really like about doing hills, its really addictive for some reason. so this was fun :D

then a longish warm down back to the car

waaa this made me depressed!!! when i jump my whole right leg colapses at the ankle and its really bad...so im not allowed to jump anymore and on friday dave is going to video me so we can find out what is going wrong/how to fix it

oh and its also depressing cuz george is so far ahead of me and gets to do gun exercises with massive weights while im stuck on the easy ones :(

did 6 x 3mins with 2mins jog recovery. wasnt feeling very fast but pushed pretty hard...
there were lots of swoopy birds :(
but it was such a nice day today!!!

then went to watch the mens XC at stromlo, it was awesome :D

hills were possibly a bad idea after gymnasium yesterday, cuz i wasnt feeling 100%
anyhoo, did 8 x 1.5mins up a mean hill that was steep then abit flat then steep again all the way to the end....

saw a cool rider with his team tracksuit on and he kept saying "excuse me m'am" to me. it was funny :D but i didnt see what country he was from :(
