did a duathlon kinda thing today...which is probably going to take me ages to log cuz it was pretty long...
distances were very variable...
and my transitions were also abit slow.
its really REALLY painful to try to run hard straight after riding hard!!

felt good, not doing anything fast/hard today cuz im still being careful about my achilles. but i think i could probably do intervals tomorrow.......so glad achilles pain hasnt resulted in anything too bad :)

didnt feel so good today, my arms were sore and so i felt like i was kinda just thrashing around not really going anywhere....but it was a good recovery :)

absolutely Awesome :D
the weather was pretty yuk (very windy and rainy) but still...
ran from home up stromlo (then ate some jelly beans!) then down and around the back then through green hills then home again. dont know how far it was....
really settled well into a steady rhythm and felt pretty good, except for during the last 15mins.
Very satisfied :)

riding tempo 1:47:30 [4] 35.0 km (3:04 / km)

on bike paths and streets with 4 x 5min hard then went slow for recovery. felt pretty good, except it was pretty windy in some bits. also went with mother...so that was fun.
kinda guessed the distance cuz the garmin didnt load when i started, but it was around 35km.

intense day....
had 90min human movement exam then 30 mins later 90min english exam then went home and collapsed on my bed for a little bit, then went to the oing.
and my brain was actually throbbing sooooo i decided it might be better if i didnt try to navigate cuz then i would just screw it and get annoyed.
so i went for an easy run around bruce ridge :)

at stromlo, felt goood :) took it pretty easy and ran on the flatish single tracks....there were LOTS of riders, but it was fun :D
though i wish there were more trees at stromlo cuz i got baked by the sun.

i think i have found out why i usually suck at riding so much - my tires are always half flat. the other day i decided to check them and they were about 25....and the min is suposed to be 40. hahahaha

arghh i'm in such EXTREME pain! recovery skins dont work!! i think every muscle fibre from my hips down hurts...i decided to do some active recovery so i went for a ride at about 1km/h. which means i rode about 2km

arghh. got up at 5am this morning...

running race (2 Peaks Mountain Race) 1:52:01 [5] 20.0 km (5:36 / km)

MHR - 194bpm
AvHR - 181bpm
wow my average HR is really high!
anyway, i think i may have started too fast up mt majura cuz at about 10km i was very tired, so going up mt ainslie was painful....i had to walk half of it :( but when i got to the top i actually felt pretty good (maybe it was cuz eon gave me some gatorade haha) but i was very very tired coming in to the finish.
and it was kinda annoying cuz it was raining and wet so the tracks were abit slippery going downhill.
but it was ok i guess, even tho my time is not very fasttt....

quads are so sore, and i have more blisters on my feet hahaha

navigation was ok....physically felt pretty good. except by the time i had started i had warmed down again cuz OLLE and EON took too long to start!!!
and i got horrible blisters at the start so i kinda hobbled round the rest of the course and then couldnt even run to do my warm down :(

ran to stromlo then on the single tracks, it was ok but i didnt feel up to much hill climbing. it was pretty hot! for some reason i decided to go at midday and so i sweated heaps......which is actually HEAPS cuz i usually sweat lots anyway hahaha
