orienteering 1:26:30 [3]

me and my bro went to the cascades to do some training. we did three shortish courses (about 3km) kind of like orienteering intervals. was only taking it easy physically cuz im really tired and keep having to take naps :)
i had never been to the cascades apart from to run a blue course so i was really excited to see what it was like....and i have concluded it is now one of my favourite areas :D

ran 21's again and really enjoyed it. was feeling so out of it when i was standing at the graveyard but then hanny came and stood at the map next to me and then i woke up! had a good run, a little mistake on the second last one but overall i was happy :D
why is it i can have good runs on days like these but not on the days it matters (like yesterday)???? GRRRR.....

terrible terrible terrible
i think i knew from the start that this wasnt going to be a good run cuz i couldnt get myself in the right mood and i was feeling very tired and sleepy. the start was ok, but at about control 8 it all went downhill and i made big mistake after big mistake.... :(

pretty good run, lost abit on afew controls cuz i was trying to hurry too much and had completely the wrong exit direction but apart from that it was pretty good :)

this was the BEST day and i finally had a good run!!!
team machine gun was awesome. georg and nomii both had really good runs and made me so proud :D :D and i was so fired up when nomi passed over to me but i wasnt nervous so maybe thats why i held it together and ran well...

GRRR
i think i was too nervous beforehand so i bolted and my navigation was very messy. after the spectator i ended up at no. 12 before 11 and lost atleast 7mins. damn it!!!

anyway, i felt abit better physically than yesterday but was totally exhausted by number one. i felt so exhausted so struggled for the rest of the course and found it really tough :(

i have officially decided that running in a gale while its raining = not very fun
and when i got out of the shower it was all calm again...grrr
this week will be very easy cuz i have ACT aths on wednesday and thursday...then queensland, which i have packed for :D

did W21's and took ages...but it was funnn! i actually really liked the area. my run was okkk, not the best. so it was all good until i had to eat lots of cake (JOSH!!) and it started pouring rain

(time includes warm up) went out to do the 8.6km but skipped afew controls cuz:
1. i was sooo tired
2. my achilles was hurting :S
3. i was soooo soooo tired
and so i got back exhausted to find out my parents had driven off and thrown my bag out the window on the way... :'( but it turned out ok cuz me and eon found a lift back. our parents dont love us!!!

was pretty horrible actually cuz i was really angry after a very bad maths test at school so i took it out on the bike and stacked about 500 times, i even managed to flip over my bike down a slope :(
poor eon had to put up with my foul mood...

did 2 x 1.5mins
4 x 1min
4 x 30sec
4 x 15sec
with same recovery but at steady pace (so 5mpk) which made it hard!!
finally convinced Eon to come with me so i could push myself more. so that was good (thanks gin!)
i think i sprained my neck..cuz it really hurts!
throat still sore but i think im better

easy run, was pretty fun except for when a stick attacked me so now i have a scratch on my stomach :(
feeling abit better today. sickness is going away! yayyy!
