Tempo. Did half around the tracks at White swan which are super hilly and then got pretty tired for the rest.

6x3min next to the pines. Struggled to get into a high gear today and also had bad time-of-the-month cramps, which always makes me feel bleh. It was ~15 degrees and sunny which was awesome :D

Did an extended warm up from home to the top of nerrina (took 50min, which was probably a bit too long!!) and then did four longish o ints through the mining, finishing at the bottom where the parentals were meeting me! Ran it all at an easy pace but started feeling tired pretty early, and was super tired on the last two o ints....left a bit late in the day (waiting for gin) and it was quite warm so maybe that's partly why I suffered.

Also a wallaby scared the bajeezus out of me when it jumped out of a patch of bracken right into me....I let out a huge squeal and then was really embarrassed haha.

Ran too hard yesterday and pulled up sore and tired today, so just did a very relaxed run checking tracks in Nerrina. Was actually out for 90min but walked all the hills and stopped to draw on the map so this is approx.
Lots of scary bogans in the forest today.

Ran from home to Nerrina where I was meeting moth. Did 6x3min ints, and planned to do them on the downhill/flat roads (except for one that was uphill) - not entirely sure if doing downhill ints is super beneficial but it felt like it'll help me develop some speed. Quite smashed after :/

Jog while mapping (updating tracks, time is approx), and then a few hours walk around the mining doing the green etc.
Both hips really sore and also bonked so bad about half an hour in and got sooooo hungry!!! Made it hard to map properly....super keen to do some courses there though, the South part of nerrina would have to be one of my favourite areas ever

Tempo from home, did a little loop North, then headed south to the bottom of nerrina to meet moth with the car. First half was fine but then I got bad gut pains and a sharp nerve pain in my lower back/butt, which was really unpleasant so I just pretty much jog the rest :(

Also note to self: glutes/TFL super super tight and cramped a lot last night.

6x3min. Did four on the new single track in the pines and two on the fire trail. Felt a bit bleh warming up and therefore didn't push super hard on the first two, but then got into it and it was good! Smashed on the warm down though....

4x2/1 6x1/30 10x30/30 on the flattest tracks I could think of (which were still slightly undulating). Legs a little tired but otherwise a good session. Wasn't feeling super fast but I don't think one can go super fast in this session because the recoveries are so short.

Hadn't done a long run today so did this in the arvo to sorta compensate. I know it doesn't work like that but it's probably better than nothing!

Sprint training at uni of melbourne creswick campus (never run there before - cool map) and then to st Georges lake for some mining control picking. Had fun, was really happy with all but two controls on the control picking.

Walked around mapping for some hours in the (relative) heat. Also found a few more really deep mines - couldn't even see the bottom of a couple :/ makes me pretty scared to run there again, especially because a lot of them don't have a mound around them or anything to signify that there's a massive deep mine.

Broken easy run while mapping. Felt good running from the car to the area I was mapping...but then after walking around mapping in the sun for a few hours I was pooped on the run back to the car and walked a bit. Probably got sunburnt - booooo
