WOC Classic Selection Race - 18th
After yesterday I knew this would be tough. I started steady with the intention of going at a pace which would mean I got to the finish. The navigation was okay but not spectacular, however the legs felt fairly ropey all the way and I struggled on the hills and bogs (which was most of it) and never felt I was in a 'race'. Not sure I can entirely blame the cold as the last month of light training probably also played a large factor.

WOC Middle Selection Races - 20th
It was a bad omen when I felt rubbish warming up, this was confirmed when Murray caught me 2 minutes after 12mins (without any significant wobbles), in fact my mistakes came after he caught me (including going via 14 on the way to 13). My legs just felt powerless to move me along any quicker and didn't have any zip in them. Shame really...............

WOC Selection Sprint Race - 13th
Woke up with a sore throat which evolved into streaming nose and sneezing on the train up to Edinburgh. Not great timing.
Loaded up on drugs, I ran as well as I could and by being relatively clean around some tricky legs i managed a reasonable result and only about 25s down on 8th.
